Macall Allen Macall joined the WBOY News Team in May 2008, two weeks after graduating from West Virginia University’s Perley Isaac Reed School of Journalism. While at WVU, Macall worked on the news staff at the campus radio station, 91.7 U92 FM. She was also an anchor and reporter for WVU News that aired statewide on PBS. In 2006, she interned at WDTV Channel 5.

Macall was born and raised in Philippi, West Virginia. She attended Philip Barbour High School and grew up watching Channel 12. When Macall is not reporting she enjoys running, traveling, reading, sewing and playing Scrabble. Macall is an advocate and active volunteer of the Crohn's and Colitis Foundation of America Western Pennsylvania/ West Virginia Chapter. She lives in Morgantown with her husband James Holsinger.
