We are heading into a nice weather pattern for the next 24 to 48 hours. As I write this, a cold front has now moved south of Clarksburg. Behind the front, the air is cooler and drier. That means a comfortable overnight with patchy fog and pleasant weather on Friday. Look for highs in the lower 80s with a good deal of sunshine. A WOW day for West Virginia. Most of Saturday is looking pretty good. Moisture will creep up the mountains during the afternoon, and thanks to some afternoon heating, a few showers and storms could pop up during the second half of the day. On Sunday, more humid with a few pop up thunderstorms, but not everyone will see one. Highs get into the middle to upper 80s. High pressure keeps us dry Monday and Tuesday, but it looks like it's going to warm up again. Around 90 by Tuesday. Enjoy the great weather on Friday! JP
